What is Amphadase^®:

Amphadase^® (Hyaluronidase Injection USP) is a colorless, odorless, ready for use sterile solution containing 150 USP units of hyaluronidase per mL with 8.5mg sodium chloride, 1mg edetate disodium, 0.4mg calcium chloride, monobasic sodium phosphate buffer, and not more than 0.1mg thimerosal (mercury derivative). Amphadase^® is indicated as an adjuvant to increase the absorption and dispersion of other injected drugs; for hypodermoclysis and as an adjunct in subcutaneous urography for improving resorption of radiopaque agents.
